1. My book-lover aunt gave me the Hunger Games for Christmas in 2008. Honestly, I hadn’t heard about it before that and I was a little worried it would be too violent, but obviously, I ended up loving it. 

2. I got THG on Christmas Eve and  (I even checked my high school blog to make sure) I finished reading it on Christmas Day :P I can’t remember exactly how long it took me to read Catching Fire, but I’d say less than a day as well.

I read Mockingjay in less than 10 hours, because I had to give it back to the person I borrowed it from in the morning.

(Note: I read books fast in general, but I’m sure I wouldn’t have read all three books this fast if the weren’t each individually amazing)

8. Honestly, I think this would have to be Peeta’s interview scene in the Hunger Games. When he says “Because…she came here with me.” I don’t remember if I really wasn’t expecting it, or whatever, but I remember literally gasping that he said it out loud. And it made my heart hurt.
